2024 in Review

In 2024, I posted 17 fics, ranging from 334 to 27,731 words. Although I feel I joined too many bangs this year, only six fics were bang collabs. Addionally, there were eight art collabs as well. I haven't counted the art pieces, though. However, it probably felt that much because there are nine collabs I'm currently working on for 2025. Making a List, Checking it Twice (Rated: E | Word Count: 1,369)

Summary: Dean forgets a naughty list in the kitchen. There's only one person/angel who can have found it.

Heating Up a Snow Cave (Rated: E | Word Count: 2,907)

Summary: Caught in a blizzard, Cas and Dean have to find a way to warm each other up.

Books, Pies, and Roommates (Rated: E | Word Count: 27,731)

Summary: Everything seemed easy when Castiel landed a job in Lawrence as a literature professor at KU. He even found a place to stay with his cousin in Topeka. But the daily commute quickly gets on his nerves and he begins looking for a room in town. When he finally lucks out on a house, it comes with a catch. His mysterious landlord/housemate works and lives in Topeka during the week, and will only be at home for the weekend while Castiel is back at his cousin’s to honor a promise he made. When Dean walks into his favorite pie shop, the new sales assistant takes his breath away. Steve is gorgeous, and part of the owner’s family. Dean doesn’t even mind that he picks up Gabriel’s stupid moniker for him. After all, Deano has one syllable more, and Dean will do anything to hear Steve’s voice just a little bit longer. Though, as breathtaking Steve might be, he isn't Angel. If only Dean's book-loving best friend weren't a mystery in himself — a guy who Dean has only met online, but who has slowly taken his heart away. And it seems that Dean isn't alone in his feelings. When the lines blur and fantasies merge three guys into one, disappointment and heartbreak seem to be inevitable.

Pinefest ( @deancaspinefest ) is always one of the highlights of the year and this year @kitshay claimed my fic and created some beautiful pieces. Besides, I had a great time writing this two-person love hexagon.

Maybe not yet, but eventually (Rated: T | Word Count: 1,032)

Summary: Screaming, Dean wakes from a nightmare, trapped inside his memories.

This is the first of several time stamps this year. This one was for my 2021 DCBB fic Maybe not a comedy (according to Jack), but he likes the happy ending that can be read as a standalone.

Setting Sail (Rated: T | Word Count: 334)

Summary: 1805: Nodding at Lieutenant Davies and Midshipman Alfie, and leaving command with Lieutenant Hester, Castiel walks towards his cabin when he sees him.

Another timestamp, this time for my 2022 Regency Big Bang fic Forty Shillings on the Drum. Written for the Tumblr May Trope Mayhem. Can be read as standalone.

Maybe not magnificent, but damn awesome (Rated: T | Word Count: 1,137)

Summary: Movie nights aboard the Impala have become something of a routine after they reunited Sam with his family on Terra. Once a week, Charlie picks some classic movie from back in the days, and their little found family comes together in the living room.

Timestamp number three, once again for my 2021 DCBB fic Maybe not a comedy (according to Jack), but he likes the happy ending. Another entry for the May Trop Mayhem. Should work as standalone.

Filling the Empty Space in My Heart (Rated: T | Word Count: 5,035)

Summary: After Cas let himself be taken by the Empty, Dean's life continues in a blur. Only Jack keeps him going, who has turned himself into an actual four-year-old boy after defeating Chuck and giving up the majority of his powers to stabilise Heaven. However, Dean knows he isn't good enough to raise a nephil. Jack needs his dad. And there might be one way to bring him back. Even if it leads Dean back to Hell, and beyond.

Inspired by an art piece for the DCRB 2024 where I ended up empty handed, and written for the Profound Bond Gift Exchange as a gift for @thecadenceimperfect. With art by me. I later wrote a smutty timestamp as well called:

A Place to Stay (Rated: E | Word Count: 3,157)

Summary: After getting back from the Empty, Dean’s entire body tingled, too edgy for his skin. He barely paid attention to the others and couldn’t stop fidgeting since he had returned to the library and joined them once again at the table. Cas’ presence was electric, pulling him into its orbit. Dean felt it in every fibre of his being as he slumped down on the chair next to him. Echoes of Grace pulsed through him, and for the first time since Cas pulled that stupid stunt and let himself be swallowed by the Empty, Dean felt alive.

TFW 2.0: Siren Adventures (Rated: E | Word Count: 4,727)

Summary: After Charlie and Sam's plan to save Cas and Dean goes sideways, Charlie doesn't give up. There must be another way. When she finds help in an unsual ally, the future is suddenly starting to look brighter.

My Crack in the Chassis catch ( @crack-in-the-chassis ) for @notreallyaroad 's fic TFW: Just Add Water. At first, I claimed for art, but due to the special kind of bang, we agreed for me to write an alternate ending / fix-it as well.

A Part of Me Shall Still Remain (Rated: T | Word Count: 6,918)

Summary: In 1805 Commander Castiel returns home after long years at sea. The Battle of Trafalgar has left him a broken man. For years, he shuns society and withdraws to his estate, until a scandal involving Sir Castiel’s disgraced cousin and a young noblewoman shakes the ballrooms of London and Bath. It introduces him to a doomed woman, who not only does approve of his deepest secrets, but who also does give birth to a child that will alter the commander’s life forever.

My fic for the Dadstiel Bang ( @dadstielminibang ) with stunning art by @twinone1221. This fic is set in the verse of my 2022 Regency Big Bang fic Forty Shillings on the Drum, but can be read as standalone. I had two other collabs for the Dadstiel Bang, both art.

Everlasting Fall (Rated: E | Word Count: 3,136)

Summary: Tendrils of Grace trickled from Dean’s fingers as his hand ghosted along Castiel’s flank. Gasping, Castiel shivered and Dean smiled. “You like that?” Stripped of their combined Grace for the night, Castiel gives himself over to Dean, ready to be taken apart.

Another timestamp because after demon and angel smut, I wanted to write some Grace kink. Set in my Calming the Weather verse.

That's Purrfect (Rated: T | Word Count: 1,262)

Summary: Castiel would do anything for him. He would level entire civilisations for Dean Winchester, or dress as a cat — it didn’t matter as long as Dean was happy.

Another Halloween fic to add to my annual tradition, and the only fic I managed to write for Suptober this year.

Highly Professional (Rated: E | Word Count: 25,565)

Summary: On his first day of college, Dean feels like a fish out of water. After years of working his ass off with several jobs at once to fund his brother’s studies, his family and friends have decided to pay him back. That’s how he finds himself panicking in the lecture hall. Thankfully, a fellow student distracts him. She promptly becomes a good friend, and Dean has no idea how badly he will need her. The moment he lays eyes on his physics professor, Dean is lost. Castiel Novak seems like the man of his dreams. And when the professor’s son appears from under the podium, several lives take an unsuspected turn.

My fic collab for the DCBB 2024 with wonderful art by @sasanka-27. I started this fic for the Dadstiel Bang, but changed it for the one I ended up with.

Your Own Personal Heaven (Rated: T | Word Count: 3,004)

Summary: After arriving in Heaven, Dean's nursing a beer in the crowded and snowed-in Roadhouse when the door opens and Cas enters. Crowding him, Dean makes out with him in front of everyone present, believing that he is stuck in his personal Heaven and none of it is real.

I haven't shared this Christmas fic on Tumblr before because I was too busy with bang collabs and the holidays. Inspired by a prompt by @macy2me.

It's a Stabby Life (Rated: T | Word Count: 4,370)

Summary: Dean Smith’s life as Director of Sales and Marketing at Sandover seems perfect. If there weren’t the dreams, and his new colleague. When he runs into Castiel and accidentally stabs him with a knife in the cafeteria, the guy walks away as if nothing happened. Maybe it didn’t and Dean is simply overworked. But then it happens again, and again, and Dean’s perfect life slowly falls to pieces.

The first of two fics for @deancas-stabfest. @arlington-chamber-of-gay claimed it an created beautiful pieces for the stabs. I had never written Dean Smith before, so this was really fun.

Gonna Find Out Who's Naughty or Nice (Rated: T | Word Count: 8,859)

Summary: During a case involving an entire coven of witches, Dean tries on a Santa hat. Nothing seems wrong, until he can’t remove the hat. Jingles start following his every step while his body changes. Slowly at first, then faster and faster, until he can’t hide it any longer from Sam and Castiel: Dean is transforming into Santa, and there seems to be no way back.

My Stabfest collab number two is the last fic for this year. This time, I claimed a wonderful art piece by @masoenart. It was the second collab with @masoena this year after our collab for the Midam Bang during the summer where our roles were reversed. One reader called this fic Christmas horror. I just had a lot of fun writing it.

Just some words

I'm currently working on Corrupt's official character design. Once that is done, I'll be sure to get back too answering those Q and A questions. I will be trying to get all of them answered so don't be afraid to continue submitting them! I know it sucks that chapters are not coming out at the moment, but one of the main things I so badly have been wanting to do is make art and animatics! Half the plots and scenes were crafted through me listening to songs and crafting cool animations sequences. It's important to me that the story is told through that as well. There is just something about how you can portray the emotion of a story through visuals and music, and I'm determined to use that. That being said. I'm not sure if you answered an ask like this before or not, but what are your thoughts on ppl incorporating little headcanons about your OCs into art and stuff?

tbh, this question gave me Déjà vu to the point where I think I've answered something like this before, but ah well, worst case I ramble about this twice, haha!

I think it's super cool when people adapt my OCs/add lil headcannons into their fanart/fanworks; it shows how much they care about my characters and the lives they live!

the creativity of the small little fandom I have here on Tumblr is endless, and it warms my heart everytime I see people bring new ideas to the table, because I know it comes from a place of enjoyment and love. heck, even If I think it contradicts the character or whatever, I'd still think it's awesome just because someone put their time and hard-earned talents into making it!

I mean, @pinkcocopuff-aqualoid is always coming up with new, cool headcannons for me and a bunch of other creators, and I get so giddy everytime they tag me! (I've also adapted a part of one of their headcannons into Eenvra's canon, LOL-)

and @itsargyle (hello btw thanks for the ask haha) has one of the COOLEST artstyles I've seen, and def does my characters justice in all the awesome fanart they've made, sometimes even more than me. (no joke, when I saw the fanart of Caleb with their own listener OC, I basically showed it to all my family n friends with jumping-up-and-down levels of excitement, it was awesome).

So, I guess what I'm saying is that I think headcannons are what helps bring VA communities closer, and it helps reminds me that every subscriber out of the 1,107 I have is a person who enjoyed my work enough to want to see more, and there's no better gift <3

It's Scar-centric so I only have the Clockers nailed down right now, but the Ranchers were my faves so they'll probably exist in some shape or form in that series.

I'm glad you enjoyed my post! I really like Team Rancher... they are just very kind to each other and I could talk for ages about how they passed Scott's compatibility test with flying colors even though he was trying to rig it so they break up SLDKFJSLDFJ <3 Tango and Jimmy were just super kind to each other and incredibly comedic... Double Life was such a fun series. I miss them.

PART 2 - Let's Play Some $#!7!: Doloc Town | Let's [try to] finish the demo!

Come join me for another installment of Let's Play Some $#!7! | LPS$, where I play games to provide commentary to educate on game development to prevent another stressful Cyberpunk 2077 launch scenario! Provided I don't get too caught up in the game to comment, which, in a sense, is commentary in and of itself. Today, we tried to finish playing Doloc Town's demo! I'm beginning to wonder if we even can. The game was first introduced to The Weekend Game Show | WGS via Let's Play Some Demos! - Part 17! Check it out here, TIMESTAMP - 9:56! I wanted to keep playing the demo to give it as much justice as possible. Now, I didn't call this stream Let's Play Some Demos! | LPSD because I want this game. After I get it, it'll be a regular feature on the show. With all that out of the way, thank you for your patience. Here are my opinions, via the "Layered Compliment Sandwich": This is one of the most adorable pixel art games I have ever played! PLEASE LET ME CHANGE THE CONTROLS!

Bouncing off what I said in LPSD - Part 17 regarding becoming a hopping when I find out jumping is faster than walking, that would require my remembering I could double jump. Once I discovered it again, yes, I was a hopping fool. Again, PLEASE LET ME CHANGE THE CONTROLS! Did I miss the place to do so? I lost track of how many times I would go to interact with something, and would jump instead. At one point, I started saying allowed, "A to jump," and would still jump instead of interact. On an amusing note, I accidentally hit A a second time to find out I could double jump. That was awesome!

Next complaint, learning how to control the drone was confusing. I had a similar complaint during LPSD - Part 17, instructions weren't clear. Stating what should be obvious, players shouldn't be figuring out the tutorial. Tutorials need to be helping players figure out the game. However, the minute I figured out the drone, shit got interesting quick! I'll be over here mining while it takes down a large bug or a flying robot! That was priceless! My last issue is how expensive everything is, but that could also be caused by farmer error. I was exploring more often than I was farming and progressing the main quest. Other than those issues, this play session was fun! We met more people, learned new things, and as I kept playing, I realized this was going to be a much longer demo than I initially thought. And I was, am, excited! We can unlock new seeds, but it's not only for you. You unlock new seeds, and then they can be sold to the rest of the community. The more you unlock, the more people have. It enforced the idea community that has been shown, and pushed, since the beginning. Which, I will admit, it took me a while to get. Overall, I'm liking the direction the game is going. It has a message we all need right now and I appreciate it. And now that I know it's saving my progress, I'm going to be starting my own playthrough to figure some things out.

As a small artist, it gets really hard sometimes to manage everything and post consistently on all social media platforms. Even though I know how important it is to be consistent to grow on such platforms. And even then, the algorithm just goes against you and it becomes an uphill battle again. But the most important thing is to keep going. I hope to gain support and love from everyone along my journey.

A little bit about this piece. The concept for this art came to me after I read about the planetary alignment which happened on January, 2025. Seven planets of the solar system aligned with each other, in a beautiful cosmic harmony and it was visible to the naked eye. I've seen terrific and awesome photos of the alignment and I was inspired to combine that with femininity. I wanted to show the feminine power which holds strength and harmony at the same time while being capable of using it on a whim if she wishes to. I hope you like it. Taking process right now

Since I took advice from a folk a year and half ago a due to the hard work I had been doing- to take a easy..

Even so, changes have come when I is considered bonds and friendship, which there is no need to explain that which that what I know about people to a whole, which it's nothing important about... 

With the great things that are about to come officially for sure, going back to the way it they used to be from back in 2017 to 2019-, stage I'm going back fully on stage, while working hard for my own following and the discord server group also.... 

Even so, of working harder and trying to go back to the way it used to be, we are in an era right now  to online officially where a big decline from people (prefer real way) and social media is dying as well, better luck to be expected officially that they can't have it there way, since things on the toliet already, while I'm going onward and forward due to the tire-some of people who left me behind and things like that and etc., especially with art status which someone rip me off from an amino coin (told folks about that, who understood), but it is a time of era that I'm fully am tired of being nice, mostly try the hardest to be the person I am to be... 

I'm trying to hold things together and still currently AM......  I know these folks of mine as of now understand that we still prefer real people, real. Really take alot of effort and justice and show people as people as people awesome people as they can be...   

Starting on October 2024.... I will be doing more process of less, rarely sometime for paid art commission for a series of mine - I'm doing (some time), persona/ artisona about me, others on cheaper price for now... Until after November and December for now........ 

With the good news for everything right now is that I started to open up an art trade for mutual/ friends/ supporter/ followers, for now the first time ever since 2015 that I, use to do an art trade for the longest time, the bonuses and more will come to that because of the "bonuses" coming up soon. 

But who knows...

There are 89 deviantART watchers that succeeded. There are most followers on sites that, in the mid-side for now, count to 100, but soon to come, 47 Youtuber subscribers of mine came. Who knows what will be next? for the bonuses and more? 

In the hard time in the struggle less that I have disability money for SSI—that included to my personal life matter, which I cannot explain more about, due where things on the scene in this country have been very poorly handled in the help and needs for many people, myself included, would have done to do paid commission—but that has to do a lot of thinking about; but in the time I'm accepting art trade only for friends, mutual ,supporters, and followers for now on officially.  But that was not the point about SSI issues, only it was about the call business...

As we go to the end of the year, I'm going forward ahead for the brightest light... and bonuses—what I mention is soon to come, whichever hits the way! Please stay ton on that and be patient on that!
